What is online counselling?
Online counselling means we meet via secure video call or phone. You can receive support from wherever you feel comfortable, in a private and confidential space.
What do I need for online counselling?
you'll need a device such as a computer, tablet or phone, a stable internet connection, a camera and microphone, and a quiet, private space. Don't worry if your not very tech-savvy - I'll guide you through any steps to make the session simple and stress-free.
How long is a session?
Each session lasts 50 minutes
How many sessions will I need?
The number of session varies depending on your goals and needs. Some people find a few sessions helpful, while others benefit from ongoing support. You are not tied into a set number of sessions, and we regularly review your progress together to unsure the support you’re receiving is right for you.
How do I know if online counselling is right for me?
A: Online counselling can be just as effective as face-to-face sessions and is a convenient way to access support from home. I offer a free 20-minute introductory session with no obligation. This gives you a chance to experience how I work, ask questions and see if online counselling feels right for you.
Will I be tied into a set number of sessions?
No, you are not tied into any set number of sessions. We work at your pace, and I review sessions regularly to ensure they feel helpful for you.
How do pay for online counselling?
Payment is requested in advance of each session by bank transfer. I am also covered by AXA Health, so session fees may be claimed for clients with AXA Health Insurance.
Is there a cancellation policy?
Yes, to ensure sessions run smoothly, I ask that cancellations or reschedules are made at least 48 hours in advance. This allows the slot to be offered to someone else and helps keep the service fair for all clients. There is no charge for cancellations given within this notice period.
What is my next step or how do I book an introductory session?
You can contact me via the booking form or email. Please include a contact telephone number. The introductory session is free and provides an opportunity to discuss your needs and see how counselling can support you.
